"It's a fabulous space," Michael Neuwirth, a spokesman for Dannon. "It's going to be an exciting move."
The owner of Dannon yogurts, Evian water, and other food products, the company announced Thursday that the new $30 million headquarters are almost complete and all should be ready in June.
The new 85,000-square-foot building, located in the "The Premises," on Maple Avenue, will house corporate offices and an employee cafeteria, Neuwirth said.
Sometime in the future, it might be home to the organization's food lab, which will currently stay at the Greenburgh location, Neuwirth said.
The new space will be in the same building with a Whole Foods, the Cheesecake Factory, Dick's Sporting Goods, Raymour and Flanigan and the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors Inc.
It will also have a parking garage, he added.
The decision to move was made in early 2017 in an effort to offer employees "downtown" amenities.
Overall, the company has received $1.3 million in sales tax exemptions for the project from the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency and some state funding from Empire State Development.
